Apple confirmed iPhone 18 Pro colors at the September 9, 2026 keynote. The four-color iPhone 18 Pro lineup is Burgundy, Glacier, Silver, and Black — confirmed at apple.com/iphone-18-pro.

This is one of the most distinctive Pro color shifts in years: Apple dropped the titanium-branded naming (Natural Titanium / Black Titanium) introduced with iPhone 15 Pro in favor of more direct color names — Silver instead of Natural Titanium, and Black instead of Black Titanium. Burgundy is the new flagship hero color (replacing Cosmic Orange from iPhone 17 Pro). Glacier is a new pale blue replacing the rumored "Light Blue" / "Sky Blue." Silver and Black are conservative neutrals with broad resale appeal.

What are the iPhone 18 Pro colors?

The iPhone 18 Pro colors are Burgundy, Glacier, Silver, and Black — four finishes, all confirmed at apple.com/iphone-18-pro on September 9, 2026.

iPhone 18 Pro colorPantone (Instant Digital)StatusMarketing role
BurgundyPantone 6076 CNewFlagship hero color for 2026
GlacierPantone 2121 CNewSecondary new finish
SilverPantone 427 CReturning (renamed from Natural Titanium)Standard neutral finish
BlackPantone 426 CReturning (renamed from Black Titanium)Standard premium finish

This is a 2-new / 2-renamed color lineup. Burgundy and Glacier are visually new (replacing Cosmic Orange and Deep Blue from iPhone 17 Pro). Silver and Black are visual equivalents of Natural Titanium and Black Titanium from iPhone 17 Pro, with new direct names — Apple retired the titanium-branded naming for 2026.

What are the colors for the iPhone 18 Pro Max?

The iPhone 18 Pro Max comes in four colors: Burgundy, Glacier, Silver, and Black — same as the iPhone 18 Pro (confirmed at apple.com/shop/buy-iphone/iphone-18-pro-max).

iPhone 18 Pro Max colorStatusPantone reference
BurgundyNew (flagship marketing color)Pantone 6076 C
GlacierNewPantone 2121 C
SilverReturning (renamed from Natural Titanium on iPhone 17 Pro)Pantone 427 C
BlackReturning (renamed from Black Titanium on iPhone 17 Pro)Pantone 426 C

For Pro Max buyers, the key shift is that Silver is back as Apple's neutral option — Natural Titanium was discontinued on iPhone 17 Pro but its visual equivalent returns as Silver on iPhone 18 Pro / Pro Max. Black replaces Black Titanium as the darker premium option.

What colors will the iPhone 18 Pro come in?

Per apple.com/iphone-18-pro:

ColorStatusNotes
BurgundyNew, flagship marketing colorDeep low-saturation wine red — the hero color of the 2026 cycle, Pantone 6076 C
GlacierNewMisty pale blue, similar in tone to iPhone 15 Pro Blue Titanium but lighter, Pantone 2121 C
SilverReturning (renamed from iPhone 17 Pro Natural Titanium)Apple's classic silver/neutral finish, Pantone 427 C
BlackReturning (renamed from iPhone 17 Pro Black Titanium)Near-black titanium-toned finish, Pantone 426 C

Apple retired the "titanium-branded" naming introduced with iPhone 15 Pro in 2023 (Natural Titanium, Black Titanium, Desert Titanium, White Titanium) in favor of more direct color names. The iPhone 18 Pro uses Black instead of Black Titanium and Silver instead of Natural Titanium. The visual finishes are similar to iPhone 17 Pro — the change is in the marketing name, not the actual color tone.

What is the Pantone code for iPhone 18 Pro colors?

The Pantone codes reported by leaker Instant Digital in August 2026, cross-referenced with Sonny Dickson's May 29 dummy unit images:

Apple marketing colorPantone codeSource
BurgundyPantone 6076 CConfirmed by Instant Digital (Macworld, August 26)
GlacierPantone 2121 CConfirmed by Instant Digital; matches supply-chain "天蓝"
BlackPantone 426 CConfirmed by Instant Digital
SilverPantone 427 CConfirmed by Instant Digital

Pantone codes are real and used by accessory makers (Casetify, OtterBox, Belkin) to pre-build color-matched cases before Apple announces official names. The Pantone code for a finish is stable across the product's lifecycle; Apple's marketing name for it is not — note how Silver (Pantone 427 C) was previously marketed as "Natural Titanium" on iPhone 15 Pro / 16 Pro / 17 Pro.

Apple's marketing team may rename colors at the keynote — "Glacier" is the most likely to be renamed (Apple could call it "Sky Blue" or "Pacific Blue"). The other three (Burgundy, Black, Silver) are likely to keep their supply-chain names.

Will the iPhone 18 Pro Max have different colors than the iPhone 18 Pro?

No. The Pro and Pro Max share the same four-color lineup. If the four confirmed iPhone 18 Pro colors are correct, the Pro Max gets exactly the same set. The only material differences between the two are the Pro Max-exclusive variable-aperture main camera and 6.9-inch display, not colors.

What are the new colors on iPhone 18 Pro?

Two of the four iPhone 18 Pro colors are visually new compared to the iPhone 17 Pro lineup:

  1. Burgundy replaces the iPhone 17 Pro's Cosmic Orange as the flagship marketing color. Visually distinct from anything in the prior Pro lineup.
  2. Glacier replaces the iPhone 17 Pro's Deep Blue (Blue Titanium). The tone is lighter and more pastel than the 17 Pro's blue.

The other two colors are visual equivalents with new names:

  1. Silver is the visual equivalent of the iPhone 17 Pro's Natural Titanium — Apple's classic silver finish, returning under a new direct name.
  2. Black is the visual equivalent of the iPhone 17 Pro's Black Titanium — Apple's dark premium finish, returning under a new direct name.

Apple retired both "Natural Titanium" and "Black Titanium" naming for 2026 in favor of plain color names.

Is Silver the same as Natural Titanium?

Visually yes — Silver (Pantone 427 C) is the iPhone 18 Pro replacement for Natural Titanium. Apple has dropped the "Natural Titanium" branding introduced with iPhone 15 Pro in 2023 in favor of more direct color names. The underlying finish is similar (light silver/neutral titanium), but Apple is calling it "Silver" on the iPhone 18 Pro marketing page.

If you bought a Natural Titanium iPhone 15 Pro, 16 Pro, or 17 Pro, the Silver iPhone 18 Pro is the closest equivalent finish — same tone, same family, same Apple aesthetic. The only difference is the name on Apple's website.

Will iPhone 18 Pro come in Natural Titanium or Black Titanium?

No — Apple has retired the "Natural Titanium" and "Black Titanium" naming. The iPhone 18 Pro has four colors: Burgundy, Glacier, Black, and Silver. There is no Natural Titanium or Black Titanium branding. Visually, Silver is the replacement for Natural Titanium and Black is the replacement for Black Titanium — same finishes, new names.

The "titanium" naming was introduced with iPhone 15 Pro in 2023 as part of Apple's push toward titanium chassis. iPhone 18 Pro retains the titanium chassis but drops the titanium marketing language in favor of plain color names.

Will iPhone 18 Pro come in Black or Pure Black?

Yes — Black is back in the iPhone 18 Pro lineup as a direct color name. Apple retired "Black Titanium" but reintroduced Black for 2026 (Pantone 426 C). The visual finish is similar to Black Titanium from iPhone 17 Pro — same near-black titanium-toned finish, plain new name.

If you liked Black Titanium on iPhone 17 Pro, Black on iPhone 18 Pro is the same finish — same Apple aesthetic, same broad appeal, same accessory ecosystem compatibility.

Will iPhone 18 Pro come in Cosmic Orange?

No — Cosmic Orange was exclusive to iPhone 17 Pro in 2025 and has been replaced by Burgundy as the flagship marketing color for 2026. Apple cycles hero colors annually: Sierra Blue (13 Pro), Alpine Green (13 Pro mid-cycle), Deep Purple (14 Pro), Blue Titanium (15 Pro), Desert Titanium (15 Pro / 16 Pro), Natural Titanium (15 Pro / 16 Pro / 17 Pro), Cosmic Orange (17 Pro), and now Burgundy (18 Pro).

Will iPhone 18 Pro come in Light Blue, Sky Blue, or Glacier?

Glacier is the confirmed color name at apple.com/iphone-18-pro. Supply-chain reporting used "天蓝" (Sky Blue in literal translation) and Instant Digital's Pantone-code report initially labeled it "Light Blue" / Pantone 2121 C. Apple chose Glacier at the September 9 keynote — Apple's marketing team has used multiple blue names historically (Light Blue on iPhone 5C, Sky Blue on iPhone 13 / 13 mini), but for the 2026 iPhone Pro, the official name is Glacier.

For the iPhone 18 Pro, Glacier is the official Apple marketing name. If you searched for "iPhone 18 Pro Sky Blue" or "Light Blue," the answer is now Glacier.

What colors will the iPhone Air 2 come in?

The iPhone Air 2 is delayed to spring 2027 alongside the standard iPhone 18. Its color set is not yet confirmed by supply-chain reporting. The iPhone 18 event on September 9 is Pro and Fold only. The iPhone Air 2 may share Glacier and Silver with the iPhone 18 Pro — both finishes are pastel/neutral and align with the Air line aesthetic — but no confirmed reporting yet.

What colors will the iPhone Fold come in?

Apple has not confirmed iPhone Fold colors. Reporting suggests two carry-over finishes from the iPhone Air line — Light Gold and Sky Blue — with Black as a third option. A fourth color, rumored to be a darker titanium-toned "Graphite," is possible. Treat all iPhone Fold colors as unconfirmed.

The iPhone Fold is a design-led product where Apple historically offers fewer color options (one or two) at launch and adds more in the spring. The launch color set is likely to be limited.

Where can I see iPhone 18 Pro colors in person?

iPhone 18 Pro is available for hands-on at Apple Stores globally as of Friday, September 18, 2026 — the on-sale date. Apple Stores in major cities (San Francisco, New York, London, Shanghai, Tokyo, Sydney) typically set up demo units of all four Pro colors on launch day, with Burgundy as the most prominently featured in store displays.

Hands-on is the only way to see how Burgundy looks in different lighting — Apple's press photos use idealized lighting that can misrepresent the depth of the wine-red finish. Glacier is also worth seeing in person — the pale blue looks different indoors vs outdoors.

If you missed launch day, Apple Stores will continue to carry demo units for the full iPhone 18 cycle. You can return a pre-order within 14 days for a full refund if the color does not meet your expectations.

When did Apple confirm the iPhone 18 Pro colors?

Apple confirmed iPhone 18 Pro colors at the September 9, 2026 keynote. The lineup (Burgundy, Glacier, Silver, Black) appears on apple.com/iphone-18-pro and in the Apple Store app. Pre-orders opened Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 5:00 AM Pacific Time, with general availability Friday, September 18, 2026.

This page is now post-launch; for the rumor/pre-event version of this content (Instant Digital Pantone codes, supply-chain tracking, dummy unit analysis), see our iPhone 18 Pro colors everything rumored article.

We will update this page within an hour of the September 9 keynote with the official color lineup and marketing images.

What's the best iPhone 18 Pro color for resale?

Four rules of thumb, in order of resale strength:

  1. The flagship marketing color holds value best. For iPhone 18 Pro, that is Burgundy. Apple's marketing spend concentrates on the hero color, and that drives demand for it on the secondary market. Expect 5-10% resale premium for Burgundy in the first 6 months.
  2. Silver is second. Silver is the safe, broadly appealing neutral option — Apple's classic silver finish under its new name. Mature accessory ecosystem (Casetify, OtterBox have Silver SKUs in stock already). Expected to hold value strongly.
  3. Black is third. Black is the darker premium option and is visually close to Black Titanium from prior generations. Resale is strong but slightly below Silver because there are more buyers who prefer the lighter neutral.
  4. Glacier is the weakest link. Glacier is new for 2026 and is not the hero color. With four colors total, Glacier has more demand pressure than a fifth color would in a five-color lineup. Resale premium is typically 0-3% for secondary new finishes.

If resale value is your priority, pre-order Burgundy in 256GB or 512GB. If you want the broadest appeal, choose Silver.

Should I pre-order a new color or a classic color?

Four practical recommendations:

  • Pre-order Burgundy if you want the most distinct new color. Apple's marketing will center on Burgundy, and it will sell out first at pre-order. If you are committed to Burgundy, pre-order as soon as possible on whichever pre-order window Apple picks.
  • Pre-order Silver if you want the most predictable experience. Silver is Apple's classic neutral (rebranded from Natural Titanium), so Apple knows exactly how many to allocate and supply will be steadier than for Burgundy. You are also less likely to face pre-order-day shipping slip due to popular-color demand.
  • Pre-order Black if you want a darker premium option. Black is the closest to a "Black Titanium" replacement. Slightly more constrained than Silver because the dark-finish segment is competitive.
  • Pre-order Glacier only if you specifically want that color. It will be available, but with four colors total, Glacier has more demand pressure than a fifth color would in a normal five-color lineup.

If you cannot decide, Silver is the safe default — it is the least likely to disappoint and the easiest to accessorize. Burgundy is the right choice if you want the most visually distinct iPhone 18 Pro of the cycle.
