Apple's first foldable. Ships Spring 2027.
iPhone Duo is Apple's first foldable iPhone, announced at the Sept 9, 2026 keynote with shipping in Spring 2027 (April or May 2027). It uses a book-style design with a 5.5-inch cover display and 7.8-inch inner display, the A20 Pro 2nm chip with WMCM packaging, 12GB RAM, Touch ID in the power button (no Face ID), and Apple's new Structure hinge rated for 400,000 folds. The "show but don't ship" strategy lets Apple take pre-orders 2-3 weeks before launch.
